Kahoot
Kahoot is an online game-based learning tool which contains learning games created by the users. These learning game, called "kahoots" are multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed using the Kahoot web or the App. It's a web related with social education and gamification.
Any person can create a Kahoot, for which he or she will have to choose between four different types of models: quiz, jumble, discussion or survey. Once the Kahoot has been created, other users can play by using a PIN on the device they want to use. This way, the device turns into a remote by which players can answer to the questions on an easy way, while the screen on the "hoster" will show the questions and the possible answers, and the ranking of the players with higher marks.
it's not necessary for the person to create a kahoot if they want to play, as there are lots of them uploaded in the web, made by other users, that you can access, use and modify for free. This means that the Kahoots that you create will also be public so other users can modify and play them.
Kahoot was designed with educative objectives, although it could also be used for entertainment. The idea of the project was the one we have seen that many times recently, learning by having fun. One inconvenient of it is that it requires questions to be short, so the person who creates it can't make them very detailed.
